40kg Rope Hoist
About this device
If you’re struggling to load your wheelchair or mobility scooter into your vehicle then a hoist will make the operation effortless.
The 40kg rope hoist is designed to lift manual wheelchairs and some of the lightest mobility scooters. It’s also designed to fit into relatively compact boots such as medium sized hatchbacks.
The up and down operations are carried out at the push of a button and the manoeuvring in and out of the vehicle is done manually. The hoist itself is simply lifted and latched upright for use and then laid down and stowed on the vehicle floor after use.
Hoists are combined with the relevant lifting bracket for your wheelchair or scooter making it simple to attach to the hoist. We also highly recommend a tie down system to ensure your wheelchair or scooter remains safely in the boot should you be involved in an accident.

The 100kg, 150kg and 200kg hoists are designed to lift medium through to large sized wheelchairs and mobility scooters into the back of most estates, MPVs, 4x4s and larger vehicles.
Complete operation is carried out at the touch of a button with powered up/down and in/out actions making it simple and easy to load your wheelchair or scooter into your vehicle.
Hoists are combined with the relevant lifting bracket for your wheelchair or scooter making it simple to attach to the hoist. We also highly recommend a tie down system to ensure your wheelchair or scooter remains safely in the boot should you be involved in an accident.
Most hoists are also easily removable leaving just the mounting frame in place. This is useful if you need to fit something large into your boot, it also makes it possible to still use 6 or 7 seats in most 7 seater vehicles once the hoist is lifted out.

If you completely depend on your wheelchair to get around and are unable to load it into your vehicle then a roof top box is the answer for your complete independence.
The box mounted on the roof is operated from your seat in the vehicle by a remote control. It will load most folding manual wheelchairs with easy ready for your journey. The wheelchair is completely enclosed ensuring it’s protected from the elements. The roof top box is also useful if you require extra free space inside the vehicle.
The Chair Topper slides out to the side for loading therefore requires no extra height above it during operation.
