Tail/Side Lift

About this device

If you’re unable to transfer from your wheelchair into the vehicle by any other means then a tail or side lift will allow you to access the vehicle in your wheelchair as part of a complete conversion.

We fit a range of lifts to best suit your application, all of which are simply deployed and stowed via a remote control and include full safety and backup features.

A lift can be installed into any vehicle with a large enough opening to house it and are typically combined with a wheelchair and occupant restraint system.

About this device

Designed to assist carers to load and unload wheelchairs and their occupants into the vehicle with minimal effort.

We supply and fit winches especially designed for this purpose complete with the required straps and remote control for operation.

Winches are a very popular addition to any wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) or are combined with a ramp and tie down as part of a complete conversion to any suitably sized vehicle.

Automatic Tailgate Opener

About this device

If you’re unable to open and close the tailgate yourself then an automatic tailgate opener will do it for you at the push of a button.

The opener is installed between the boot floor and the tailgate and is suitable for most types of vehicle. Operation is carried out by a switch inside the vehicle or by an optional remote control making it easy to operate from outside the vehicle.

The tailgate can still be opened and closed manually.

Step

About this device

If you find it difficult getting up into a high vehicle then a step will help.

Both electrically or manually deployed versions are available to give an extra step into either the side or rear of your vehicle.

Fixed Ramp

We fit a range of ramps to best suit your application to give the gradient required and to fit into the space available.

A ramp can be installed into any vehicle with a large enough opening to house it and are typically combined with a wheelchair and occupant restraint system and winch.

Wheelchair/Occupant Restraint

If you travel in your vehicle from your wheelchair then you will need some form of wheelchair and occupant restraint.

We fit a wide range of systems to best suit you application. This includes simple bolt in, solo quick release type and full track systems. Various seatbelt and tie down options are available to suit your particular wheelchair and vehicle.

Restraint systems can be fitted into any vehicle large enough to transport a person travelling in their wheelchair, these are typically combined with a lift or ramp as part of a complete conversion.

Tailgate Closing Strap

If you are unable to reach up to close your tailgate then a tailgate closing strap will help.

We can fit these to most vehicles to provide a simple but effective solution to the problem.
