Please note vehicle can still be driven normally by an able bodied person with all adaptations.

Easy Release Hand Brake

About this device

If you struggle to push the hand brake release button then an easy release adaptation will make the operation easier.

The adaptation is fitted over the hand brake, the pulling back motion of the handle will depress the release button and release the hand brake. The same handle is used to pull up and apply the hand brake.

This adaptation fits most conventional hand brakes and is also available to fit most ‘aircraft’ styled hand brakes found in some vehicles.

Electric Hand Brake

About this device

If you find using the standard hand brake difficult then an electric hand brake will allow operation with the simple flick of a switch.

The vehicles standard hand brake is removed and a switch is fitted at a convenient position in the dash board or trim. Operation is carried out by simply pressing the switch one way for off and the other way for on.

Cruise Control

About this device

If you find it tiring operating the accelerator a long journeys then cruise control will help.

A switch unit is fitted at a convenient location, usually on the steering column trim. When travelling at a comfortable speed pressing a button will hold that speed allowing you to release the accelerator. The speed can be raised or lowered or the operation cancelled all at the push of a button on the unit. The feature is immediately reset when applying the brake for safety reasons.

Power Assisted Steering

About this device

If you find turning the wheel on your vehicle too heavy then lightening the steering will help.

This can be done to many vehicles already equipped with power assisted steering (PAS). The level of assistance can be increased to the required level to make the steering effort easier.

Easy Release Gear Lever

About this device

If you struggle to push the gear lever release button then an easy release adaptation will make the operation easier.

The adaptation is fitted onto the gear lever, moving the handle will depress the release button allowing the gear lever to be moved back and forth to select a gear.

Push Start & Ignition

About this device

If you don’t have the strength or dexterity in your hand to turn the ignition key then a push button start and ignition will overcome the problem.

The operation of the standard ignition is replaced with a simple switch setup.
