Secondary Control System (Lodgesons)

If you have lost the use of an arm then a secondary control system (sometimes referred to as an infrared control) will allow you to drive using one arm.

The handset is fitted to the steering wheel on the relevant side. The handset allows easy steering with one hand along with operation of the vehicles secondary controls (e.g. indicators, lights, wipers etc.) all at the touch of a button.

This product is commonly combined with hand control or left foot accelerator systems for complete control whilst driving.

The unit is quick release making it easy to detach from the clamp for other drivers.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us for advice on hand controls or any disabled adaptations and our service covering the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire area. Also please contact us for any information regarding adaptations for vehicles on the Motability Scheme.
